The official handover of the first coach acquired by National Express Ltd did not go as smoothly as was planned - despite the smiles.
Clive Myers, the company MD, officially accepted the coach, but if you look the sides of the coach were blocked by their bodies - to avoid the fact that the Caetano body did not have the stripes correctly applied.
Photos taken - it was immediately returned to the dealer to be correctly "dressed overall".
The Leyland Tiger with a Caetano Algarve body was one of two to be acquired (the other was C183 RVV).
The pictures were taken at Burghley House in Lincolnshire. |
